1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, asking them to pray without ceasing. To pray without ceasing is to always be in communication with God. This communication is not limited to a specific place. Although it is preferable to pray to God in an appropriate place and avoided from all distractions. But it is also possible to pray to God regardless of where we are. Because we can pray to God in our hearts. God knows everything about us. He knows what is going on in our hearts. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and scribes by saying to them: "These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me." Matthew 15:8
We pray to God with our lips. Let us also use our hearts and our minds to honor and pray to God. Instead of letting our hearts fill with bitterness, hatred, jealousy, resentment, sadness and our minds with thoughts of discouragement, doubt, suicide or those that do not respect the word of God; devote them to communicating to God with faith. When Hannah was in prayer, she murmured her lips and spoke in her heart with God. The priest Eli accused her that she was drunk. But God knew what she said in her heart and had answered her prayer. Always being in communication with God will help us to fix our eyes on Him and also live to please Him. For He sees the steps of each of us. "For His eyes are on the ways of man,
And He sees all his steps." Job 34:21 He does not only see us, but He also has the power to protect us and deliver us. Let us choose to always be in communication with God no matter where we are: at church, at school, at home, in the streets, etc. This attitude will help us to manage our difficult situations because we will know there is someone who listens to us and who is ready to intervene for us. He loves us. He is Omnipresent and He is Omnipotent. He is our God.
God bless you !
