Who Are we?
History
Our organization was born out of a deep commitment to solidarity, human dignity, and service to vulnerable communities in Haiti.
Following the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010, which left thousands of families homeless and living in extremely difficult conditions, a movement of mutual aid and compassion naturally emerged at the initiative of the founder of this organization, Pierre Francilhomme Romelus. In response to the urgent needs of the affected populations, we launched humanitarian initiatives to provide concrete support to those who had lost everything.
Our initial actions focused on distributing food to displaced families and people living in poverty through the ECERES Church.. With the support of the Jarikin Foundation in the Netherlands and volunteers, these activities helped meet essential needs and restore a sense of dignity to those affected.
Recognizing that the needs extended far beyond food assistance, we expanded our efforts to include:

Education, to empower children and young people to break the cycle of poverty and access better opportunities.

Healthcare, through awareness, prevention programs, and support for basic care to improve the well-being of families.

Housing, by assisting homeless families or those living in precarious conditions, helping them regain safety and stability.

Food distribution and support for the elderly.
These humanitarian actions, initially implemented to respond to an emergency, have continued over the years and led to the official creation of Source Divine Ministries in 2016. This structure has enabled us to sustain our activities, mobilize resources, and expand the impact of our programs within communities.
Today, our organization continues to promote solidarity, compassion, and sustainable development, working to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations and to strengthen hope and resilience within Haitian communities.
Source Divine Ministries is a non-profit organization, registered as a 501(c)(3), founded in Orlando, Florida, in November 2016. Its mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of people in need, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, through initiatives in the areas of:

Education
Education must enable both children and adults to become agents of transformation in the societies in which they live. In Haiti, many children do not attend school due to lack of resources or because there is no school in their area. The organization Source Divine Ministries has funded the education of several children and has provided them with school supplies. Learn more.

Health, whether physical or mental, is a fundamental pillar of human well-being. Through its actions, Source Divine Ministries provides support to people who do not have easy access to necessary care.. Learn more.
Housing
Housing is a fundamental right; yet in Haiti, many people live in precarious conditions. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to help elderly individuals receive rental assistance. Source Divine Ministries aspires to provide more housing for those in need. Learn more.

Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our organization is a Christian ministry committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving communities. Through our radio broadcasts, we share the Word of God, bringing a message of hope, faith, and salvation to all who listen. Through these initiatives, we seek to demonstrate the love of Christ not only through words but also through actions, in accordance with the teachings of the Gospel.
